Q: How do you differ from traditional administrative support?
A: We don't. You should have the sensation of working with a trusted employee that values your business and is invested in your success..
Q: Do I have to claim you as an employee? Do I have to issue you a w2 or 1099?
A: No! I am an LLC and own my own company. You are requesting a service, but the time, location, and the work differs each time. I record it asincome and pay taxes on my end as a small business owner. I would be considered a contractor only if you are requesting a specific service, to be repeated during specific, set hours on a consistent basis. .
Q: May I request that you sign a nondisclosure or noncompete?
A: As an independent small business owner, I do not have the luxury of refusing clients. My client list is private and I can assure you absolute confidentiality. We do not request business specific testimonials or refer to you as a client outside of our work together. We do not take photographs iin of or around your space or tag our work on social media. We do not discuss your project or use unpublished examples from your project with other clients. We do not use any accolades or reactions (text or email) as a testimonial without your express consent.
Q. Will you help me with my poshmark/etsy/ebay business?
A: The time to research, list and then ship each item is cost prohibitive and time consuming. For that reason, we may gently discourage you from booking our services for those businesses. We do not work on percentage commissions. We regret that we cannot provide valuations of items.
Q. What if I just need a personal assistant to keep my on track weekly?
A: We are happy to offer maintenance services were we follow up on previously created systems and reset your space or systems as needed. We offer affordable maintenance packages designed to support you on a consistent basis.
Q: What does an in-person administrative session look like?
A: We expect a minimum of (2) hours of work per booked session.
Maximum session 4 hours.
Q: What if I just need a small quick edit?
Time for work spent performing any service is billed in tenths of an hour.
Q. Is there a fee for a consult?
A: A first time in-person interview or consultation is $35 for 45 minutes.
Q: Are you willing to work in our office?
A: If you have confidential documentation that may not leave your site/office, we do offer limited in office assistance. Unfortunately we do not provide temporary office personnel.
Q: Do I need to be present during sessions in my space?
A: If we are completing a project in your space, we require a in person consult in advance. We retain the right to respectfully decline your project if we feel the office conditions present as unsafe or present a hazard to our team.
Q:Is there any work you will not do?
A: We do not work in offices where there are biohazards or other potential threats to our health and safety. We cannot work where clients family members are left in our charge where the client steps out. We do not offer ride services. We respectfully retain the right to refuse service to those with unsecured weapons, active drug use, or any unsecured location where the public may enter without notice.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, we maintain a general liability policy. We assume no business or personal liability for errors in our work.
Q: How do I pay for your services?
A: Payment is collected at the end of each work day for single sessions.
We accept cash, check, Venmo, and PayPal.
Q: Is there a travel fee?
A: Travel is included at no additional cost in our service area. Travel outside our service area is billed in quarter hour increments at our hourly rate.
Q: Do you have a cancellation policy?
A: We require a minimum of 24 hours notice. Late cancellations or no-show appointments may be assessed a fee. Additional details are noted in our Terms of Service.
